Alexandra S. Audate

This is my home.

This is a place for all people – fat, Black, queer, femmes and gender non-conforming , disabled, immigrant, sex workers, incarcerated folks, young girls…

This is a safe space.

This is a place for all of us to thrive.

This is a place where the marginalized can come to feel seen, heard and valued.

Here, I will talk about community, activism and radical love.

For years now, I have been fighting for justice and equity in our community and I have come to the sad realization that many spaces are not inclusive.

Here, we will have dialogues about how to improve our communities.

Over the course of my work, I have learned that the personal is political when you are a Black, Queer, Haitian Woman. Remember this when you feel like I get too emotional. This is about survival.

So be ready to talk about politics, social justice, law and all the things that makes it so damn hard for us to thrive in society.

You did not think after writing all of this I was going to have a boring headshot, did you?

This picture is me! That is my personality. When I rejected white supremacy, this Happy. Carefree. Black. Woman emerged and I LOVE HER!

Welcome to my page! Welcome Home!
